    Q
What is the most effective height to mount the Vector Classic Fly Light Trap?
    A
The optimum height for any fly trap (including the Vector Classic Fly Light) is typically around 4 to 6 feet off of the ground which is usually the height flies typically forage at.  Height of course will depend on the situation and if there is a lot of people around or if it is a dining room situation.

I need parts for this machine and i am in need of a parts breakdown for it. I also would like to know what parts you have available for this machine.

Replacement glue boards for the Vector Classic Fly Light Trap are the PT 907 Universal Glue board and the bulb replacement is the 15 Watt Shatterproof or Non shatterproof.  Beyond these items, we do not have a parts breakdown nor replacement parts, they would need to be confirmed with the manufacturer for availability.  They can be reached at 800-777-8570

    Q
Do you have to plug the Vector Classic fly light into an electrical socket to work?
I want to put this in area that does not have an electrical socket/power source.
    A

The Vector Classic Fly Light Trap does require being plugged into an electrical socket.  The Catchmaster GloStik Flying Insect Trap (918) would be a good alternative to use if you do not have a plug in the area you want to use a trap.

    Q
Does the Vector Classic Fly Light Trap work all day? Or do lights I have in the room it's in have to be off? Or does it matter?
    A

Vector Classic Fly Light Trap and other flylights work best when there is no competing light source.  If you are not able to keep lights off in the area during the day it would be best to run it at night after they are off.

    Q
Can the flies be visible in customer area with the Vector Classic Fly Light Trap?
    A

Since Vector Classic Fly Light Trap uses a glueboard behind the lights, the caught insects could be visible. The Gilbert 2000GT may be a better option, as the flies are hidden behind a discreet design.
