This product is very effective. Trapped about a million flies. But trap starts to smell bad after a while. Need to empty and restock it

I'm sorry, but you can NOT use these at a backyard party as the smell is horrendous. They do work well though!

Yes it catches flies, but as other reviewers have mentioned the attractant gives off a bad smell. You also have to keep adding water from the original amount which makes it quite a task because of the smell and the amount of dead flies in the jug. But it does work, just follow the included directions that are included and place it a safe distance away if you are using it during an outdoor function.

These work incredibly well. People comment on the stink but it's no big deal. If you're a few feet away, you can't smell it. I even brought one in the house yesterday because the back door was open and a ton of flies got in the kitchen in about 3 minutes. The odor is no big deal. My problem with this product is that the replacement bait is expensive. I have 3 of the magnets and am now looking for more bait.
