A little peanut butter and you're in business. Deadly effective. Cheap enough to just dispose of when sprung. Used to use the traditional ones with the metal catch but the plastic is a lot easier and, so far, no false set offs.

I had this one mice who's been joking around in front us. Running from place to place. Not a care in the world. I purchased the mouse traps and placed it in his favorite area that he runs in and out, and within two days. The joker was caught. Very recommendable item. Easy to set up, clean and reuse.

I go through quite a few of these in a year, sometimes they need to be adjusted to work correctly but mostly not. The little tray that holds a tiny dab of peanut butter is the reason I buy this brand. I own a pest control company.

I've used lots of other traps and absolutely nothing compares to how well these work. Definitely use the sensitive setting and be very careful when setting them as they do hurt if they snap your fingers! I also prefer to move the yellow paddle down towards the base just slightly until the holding bar is just barely holding the paddle in place. This does make the trap extra sensitive, so be careful when handling and placing! I used Nutella as bait and it worked like a charm. Place the yellow paddle towards the wall and you will absolutely catch mice. I caught many that were not even stopping for bait, but running along the wall and happened to run over the paddle.

With a little smear of peanut butter on the trigger but don't forget to put a little on the wood lip so the mouse can taste a small amount of food.

I have used 7 of the 12 mouse traps I bought. The yellow plastic trip head is much more sensitive than the old Victor mouse traps. Will be buying a 72 pak, as I keep getting rid of mice!

bought these to catch 2 mice we had in the yard- in 5 days we had them. They set off the traps once without being caught but not the second time! Buy with confidence.

We had mice around the outside of our house that I could hear trying to get in and most likely did, but we never saw evidence in the house. After repeatedly seeing them in our garden I called an exterminator who sealed up the outside of the house. I am glad I did that as it would have been more of a project than I cared to undertake. They also. left traps in tunnels in our garage. Within a day they were full. When the exterminator was not in a hurry to replace them I purchased these along with the tunnels and bait. We have caught 6 mice and have 4 traps out in 2 tunnels. All in the garage thank goodness. We no longer hear them trying to get into the house. I am sure that we will use these traps and the tunnels over time and it is great to have them on hand.

they did not work well for me, too hard to set and bait was stolen without the trap going off, thinking about getting the regular traps that work much better for me

I inserted the traps into some small wood tunnel enclosures I made, to funnel the mice over the trip mechanism to get to the crushed mixed nuts. Works great. Go to YouTube for enclosure and method Ideas. Also killed a rat that was 4x the size of the mice!

These traps are too effective. I've run out of mice to kill. Now, I only get one or two occasionally. Nothing like the hoards I was getting before. They are very easy to use, economical, reusable, and safe. Shipping was fast and free. I hate using poison. With these traps, I know for sure what I killed and can dispose of the results properly. I highly recommend these traps.

You won't find a better trap for the price. These Pro model traps are so much better made and easier to set that the ones you buy at the hardware/dollar store. These are much easier to set than the Catchmaster ones, their spring is too stiff. These I can usually set in 1 or 2 attempts.

These are plenty good for the money. I would suggest buying the 72 pack because you should place at least 3 in a row in any one place. Placing against the wall or straight edge (snapping toward wall). Jif peanut butter works excellent. Lightly smear it on the yellow pad toward the center, forcing the mouse to step on it. Too much peanut butter and you weigh it down. Jif smells plenty strong. You'll want to put out at least 25-35 traps at once as you want to try and catch them all as quickly as possible before they start to avoid the traps, which doesn't happen quickly.... but still its better before an infestation gets out of hand. I also ordered glue traps, but these snapping traps caught 80% of the mice. I caught about 15 mice in about a week.

We live in an old farmhouse, so mice are always a problem. This model mouse trap with the plastic insert is the only one that "catches" mice without having the bait stolen!

I've used these for several years in the greenhouse and found them to be easily reusable, easy to set, easy to bait (I use peanut butter), and reliable. If there's a mouse, this trap will catch it.

Victor is the only mouse trap I will buy. All the other traps I have used, the mice can dance on it and run away. With Victor if I set 5 traps I get 5 mice. It gets the job done.

Tried 5 local stores but most are discontinuing this style with the large trip plate. These are great for Voles and mice so buy while you can!
