Have used Victors for years. The new bait plate, on the M326, makes it much easier to set. No more unexpected tripping like you experience with the older traps.

Easy to use. Easy to set. No wonder you can't find these in retail stores. The exterminators would be exterminated if people only knew how easy it is to set a rat trap. Not had a misfire yet. 100% kill ratio.

Did a lot of research to find the right and SIMPLE solution to getting rid of some unwanted visitors. Electronics don't rate very high and they are very expensive. Checked with the local hardware and they didn't have these Professional Type Traps with the Yellow Trip Plate, and the conventional ones with the copper tab in the middle don't work so well for rats. Found these traps and ordered a case. Arrived in a few days. WOW!!! Followed the Instructions and placed 4 traps in strategic locations. Got out the peanut butter, placed it on the yellow tabs, put the traps in place without loading the springs and waited for two days. After two days went back and loaded the traps with the spring and replaced them. Next morning 2 Dead Rats! 5 days later... No Sign of Rats!

This trap works great on Packrats, especially in my truck's engine compartment. The large trigger plate seems to attract the rats and it trips smoothly. It gives clean head kills. I use a small piece of juniper needles as bait.

These are an excellent all-around rat trap, much easier and less dangerous to set than a metal rat trap and trap many-sized varmints very effectively. This 12-pack is an economical way to buy enough traps to set a lot on the first night of trapping before the critters catch on. I have caught chipmunks (my main targets! they dig under the foundations) and mice with them, plus a squirrel also that went after the peanut butter on the trigger. DoMyOwnPestControl had one of the most reasonable prices and mailing cost for the package, much info on the website, and kept me informed via e-mail of all information re the purchase and mailing, and sent them very promptly.

The Victor Pro rat traps are much easier and safer to set than the old style Victor rat traps with the small copper tray. The F (firm) position for the trap bar is very useful - this makes it easy to place the traps, even in awkward locations, without accidentally springing the trap. The spring is very strong and produces quick, clean kills even on large adult Norway rats. The traps were shipped quickly and the order was processed accurately. I recommend DoMyOwnPestControl.com

For whatever reason you can't get these in stores anymore, so buying in bulk is a good deal. They are much better and more reliable than the flimsy little plastic ones you get in the stores. They actually kill the little guy and not leave some piece of junk stuck to him all night until I can bash him with a shovel. Get these if you want to kill the mouse and be done with it.

Had some older traps with the metal triggers that were more difficult to set and to keep the bait on. Purchased the traps with the plastic trigger. Can put the bait on, even hold the bait with a rubber band, then set the trigger. Can adjust the trigger by elevating or lowering for being less or more sensitive. If you catch the big ones with leg or tail, then you will have to wait a week or two for that pungent aroma to locate the trap....Order a few extra. Found a fresh diced potato daily bait to work the best.

Have problem with rats getting into eves of my house. the eves are too low to allow me to get out there and set traps. I drill a hole in the trap and attach a cord and then push the traps out. I was hoping the sensitivity setting would be a big help in overcoming nuesome trips when pushing the traps out. so far i don't see a difference. I'm overjoyed with the price, the delivery and the extra large trip mechanism. We can't buy these deluxe traps at the stores here.

After much searching around, this is the best value and these are the best traps! NOT like the lousy, stiff ones from China! Highly recommended for assured results but DO read the tips, like letting them set out for a day or so before setting the spring.

Of all the new fancy traps out there none are as reliable as the Victor board trap. I've used the Tom Cat, T-Rex, and Jaws but they sometimes fail and I have found some live rats in the trap. The Victor gets them dead and are cheaper. The best bang for your buck.

Good traps, quality control not perfect. Had to pull staples holding yellow bait bar part way out on several, as they were set too deeply into wooden base making bait bar unable to set. Did so prying with chisel or large screw driver. So far catching more squirrels than rats, as the squirrels seem mesmerized by peanut butter. However, have high hopes.

One trap arrived broken. Not the fault of domyownpestcontrol, most likely victor's issue. However, once contacted domyownpestcontrol reacted very quickly and sent a free replacement. Thank you very much! Highly recommended! Will spread the word at any chance.
