Hey I'm Kara with DoMyOwn.com – today I'm gonna be talking to you about Bedlam Aerosol Insecticide. Bedlam is a powerful ready-to-use contact and residual insecticide. It comes in a ready-to-use aerosol can. It can be used on several pests, but is mainly used for bed bugs.

Bedlam insecticide aerosol is formulated to kill bed bugs on carpet, wood, and ceramic surfaces for up to two weeks. It also reduces the number of bed bug eggs that will hatch to greatly cut down on reinfestation.

To use Bedlam, simply shake the can, then remove the top. Insert the included straw into the nozzle and the can is ready to be sprayed. Spray from 8 to 10 inches away from where you intend to apply the insecticide and do not spray to the point of drip or runoff.

For bed bug treatments, focus on cracks and crevices around infested rooms. Spray on baseboards and where walls and baseboards meet the floor, in the cracks of headboards, in the corners and drawers of furniture, around door and window frames, in luggage, and along drapes and rugs.

On mattresses and box springs, apply Bedlam to the tufts, folds, and seams as that is where bed bugs will hide. Do not broadcast spray across the entire mattress or apply on bedding or sheets.

Bedlam can be used on upholstered furniture, including chairs and sofas, but should only be sprayed in the seams, tufts, and folds. Do not spray on the surface of cushions or arm rests.

After Bedlam is applied, the contact kill will begin to start killing bed bugs within a few hours.

Use on pet bedding, sleeping quarters, and the floor where pets are kept to control fleas and ticks. Bedlam is safe to use as directed around pets, but do not spray directly on your pet.

Bedlam is labeled for use in hospitals, schools, offices, hotels, apartments, kennels, and homes as it is water-based and non-irritating, but precaution should be taken before use. The product won't stain water-safe fabrics and surfaces, but a spot test should be done in precaution if you are unsure of your fabric type.

Before using Bedlam, remove all children and anyone not applying the product from the room being treated. Wait for the product to dry, about 1 to 2 hours, before re-entering the room.

Read the Bedlam insecticide aerosol label for specifics on application sites and where the product can and cannot be applied.
