Control roach infestations quickly with easy to use Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Killer Bait Gel. Maxforce Magnum uses the power of fipronil combined with its patented Contact X technology to kill roaches upon contact and after eating.
Cockroaches are communal pests that interact with other roaches. After eating the gel bait, roaches will spread that bait to other roaches, who will also be killed by the active ingredients. This domino effect helps knockdown cockroach infestations fast, making Maxforce a great tool for initial roach treatments.
Gel bait can be applied both indoors and outdoors within minutes of seeing a roach. Simply take the stopper off the bait tube, add the included tip, insert the plunger to the end of the tube, and squeeze out a dot of gel. Gel dots should be applied in cracks and crevices where roaches live or move through, like baseboards, the corners of cabinets, beneath countertops, where countertops meet walls, beneath sinks, around water heaters, where pipes meet walls, and around sinks.
Apply small beads or dots of gel in each application spot. Use 1.5 grams of gel per square yard for light or moderate infestations, 3 grams of gel per square yard for heavy infestations, and 0.75 grams per square yard for maintenance programs. Dots of gel should be the size of a dime for heavy infestations or the size of a pea for light infestations. Each gel spot should be placed 8 to 10 inches apart.
Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Bait Gel or any other gel bait should not be used where insecticides have recently been applied. Read the label of Maxforce FC Magnum for further instructions on where the gel can and cannot be placed.
You may also want to keep a paper towel handy to wipe the application tip to keep it clean. You can also use a professional bait gun to apply the gel without the use of the plunger.
Gel can also be placed in refillable bait stations. Consult the Maxforce FC Magnum label for instructions on how to fill the stations. Do not overfill stations or use more than 1 gram of bait per station.
Before applying bait, it is important to clean your kitchen, bathroom, and any other area where bait will be applied. Thoroughly wipe down countertops, clean inside cabinets, and scrub sinks and tubs of all crumbs and debris. Don't forget to sweep behind and beneath appliances, especially those you can easily move like the refrigerator. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners during this cleaning as they could interfere with the roach bait.
Dry off sinks, tubs, and showers to remove moisture from the room. This will eliminate a water source for roaches.
Keep these rooms clean of crumbs, debris, and moisture as much as possible during your treatment to help control the roach population.
