Hi this is Elizabeth with DoMyOwn.com and today I'm gonna talk to you about PT 565 Plus XLO Aerosol Insecticide.

Quickly knockdown crawling and flying pests with PT 565 Plus XLO Pressurized Contact Insecticide. This multi-faceted spray can be used to kill over 35 different pests in houses, apartments, hotels, offices, warehouses, and other residential and commercial spaces.

PT 565 Plus XLO has different application methods, depending on the type of pest you are trying to control. PT 565 Plus XLO provides knockdown, contact kill, and flushing action only. Once the spray is dry, it will not continue to kill insects that interact with the dried spray.

It can be used as a space spray to control flying insects like clothes moths, Mediterranean flour moths, flies, mosquitoes, and wasps, and crawling insects, like pantry beetles, and carpet beetles.

To perform a space spray, turn off all fans and air conditioning units and close all doors and windows in the room you are treating. Spray PT 565 Plus XLO for 1 to 3 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet of room, for flying insects, or 20 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet of room for crawling insects, focusing on areas where the infestation is greatest and spraying any crawling pests you see directly. Exit the room and wait 15 minutes for the spray to dry, then re-enter and open doors and windows to ventilate before using the room again. Sweep up any dead insects that fall after the spray application. Be sure to wear a respirator mask when performing a space spray.

Crack and crevice applications are recommended for crawling pests like roaches, ants, and pantry pests. Crack and crevice applications target pests where they hide, harbor, and lay their eggs. Place the included straw into the injector tip using pliers. While outside, replace the space spray tip with the injector tip and straw and give the tip a test spray. Then, use the straw to access cracks, holes, and other small openings around door frames, window frames, baseboards, the corners of cabinets, beneath appliances, the corners of pantries, beneath sinks, and in the corners of rooms. Spray at a rate of 3 feet per second for light infestations and 1 foot per second for heavy infestations.

PT 565 Plus XLO is a great flushing agent to use for finding pest hot spots and harborage sites.  The pyrethrins in this spray irritate pests, causing them to come out from their hiding spots. Spray PT 565 Plus XLO into crack and crevices to help flush out pests, like cockroaches, and once they are visible, spray them directly, 18-24 inches away

.

The can must be at least 60 degrees warm to use. If the temperature of the can is below 60 degrees, store at room temperature until the can reaches 60 degrees.

There may be a slight odor while the spray is wet. The odor should disappear when the spray is dry.

Keep children and pets away from rooms and areas being treated until the spray is dry and the room treated has been properly ventilated.

Do not apply more than once per day and do not apply to the point of runoff. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not spray outdoors where bees are foraging and active.

Read the PT 564 Plus XLO label for detailed instructions on where the spray can and cannot be sprayed and how to treat for specific pests.
