I want to pretreat the soil with Termidor SC before pouring a foundation for a new building. Building will be 48'x36'. Do I cover the entire area (1728 sq ft) ? How many gallons would I need?

Answer:

Yes, when doing a pre slab treatment you will need to use 1 gallon of mixed solution of Termidor SC (0.8 fl oz per gallon of water) per 10 square feet. Take the total square footage you need to treat, divide the square footage by 10 then multiply by 0.8 to get the total amount of Termidor SC you will need to treat for the pre-slab treatment. If treating 1728 sq ft, that would come to 172.8 10 sq ft sections and you would need 138.24 fl oz of Termidor SC to treat the entire area. Taurus SC would be an alternative to Termidor SC that comes in a 78 oz bottle. Taurus SC is the generic brand of Termidor SC and contains the same amount of Fipronil active ingredient, same product label and application rates.
