Every Spring and Summer, as soon as the weather gets warm, wasps come to the back of my house to peel off the top layer of my IPE wood deck for nest material. I cannot locate where the wasp nests actually are as there are none visible, but they still come to my deck to peel off the wood for their nest material. Would this be effective in spraying my whole deck railing to prevent them from doing this, or do you recommend another product for that? Thanks for any advice you can provide!
PT Wasp Freeze II Aerosol does not have a real residual, so it would not be a good product for preventative. It is a contact kill to help kill them when you see them. You can try something such as Permethrin SFR 36.8%, as the oily residual will detour them from returning.
