Libbie from Louisiana writes

Water in the hole I dug.

I bought the 20-station kit and installed most of them. It was raining yesterday. The holes I dug on the part of one side of the house filled with water like 3-4 inches below the ground. Today the water in the hole is still 4 inches below the ground. Is it ok to put in the station, or any suggestions? This low area is not avoided. Also, the instruction says to use a post-digger which I have bought. A narrow hand shovel from Dollar Tree $1.25 works perfectly for me. Sharing with people.

Answer:

If you mean can the Advance Termite Bait System Kit be in standing water, the answer is yes.  It will not harm the plastic station.  However, the wood inside can get moldy and would probably need to be replaced. If the stations are full of water or the wood has too much mold on it, termites will not want to enter the stations.  Typically the wood needs to be replaced at least once a year, but in your case, you may need to do it twice a year
