Don from Westminster Md writes

Weeds took my garden this year due to illness. Can I spray it and replant 8 months later

Answer:

Since Pastora Herbicide is a pre and post emergent, it would be best to wait at least 1 year to plant in the area, though the label states it can remain in the soil for up to 34 months. If you are planting edibles in the garden such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, etc, you will need to wait at least 34 months before replanting in the area. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions. A non-selective product containing glyphosate can be applied to growing weeds/grasses a couple of weeks prior to planting in the area.
