Are your inert ingredients safe for skin contact on humans and dogs? Can I add the Riptide to shampoo to wash the dogs? Would there be any side effects from the pyrethrin or its inert ingredients?
The inert ingredient part of a product is a trade secret and not disclosed to anybody. Riptide is not labeled for use on dogs or humans and should not be utilized for this type of treatment. We do not carry any products that can be used on humans. We do carry Tick Block which is labeled for use on clothing (cannot be used directly on skin). We also carry Permethrin SFR which is labeled for use on dogs.
