What can I use for post-emergent poa control?

I need a herbicide that doesn't harm trees but works on Poa. I use sethoxydim for Bahia, but it's not effective on Poa and the other stuff I have (simazine, sulfosulfuron, metsulfuron, etc) can harm trees. Note I've got some Centipede already greening up so don't want to use glycosate - yeah, if the lawn were still dormant I could use the glycosate but with this unseasonable warm snap everything emerged - good and bad. And....I used the pre-emergents too late (just 2 weeks ago) due to not anticipating the warm snap and unlike the label indication Dithiopyr has not worked on early post-emergent Poa.

Answer:

If you are wanting to use a post-emergent herbicide to kill poa annua under trees and around other ornamentals (not turfgrass), then you can use Grass Out Max. Do NOT use Grass Out Max on desirable turfgrasses. If you are trying to kill existing annual bluegrass/poa annua in Centipede turfgrass, then you could use Certainty Herbicide. Dithiopyr (Dimension) is a pre-emergent herbicide. It is only a post-emergent herbicide for early crabgrass, not any other grasses or broadleaf weeds. Going forward, we recommend using a pre-emergent for poa annua in the late Summer/Fall such as Prodiamine 65 WDG.
