What does the Limited Lifetime Warranty imply. I had to purchase a Corona bypass pruner for $17.98 at Lowes. Does the warranty mean as long as I am the sole owner I can receive a refund from the company? The Corona bypass pruner I replaced no longer would open by it self and the plastic locking device no longer works. Would appreciate feedback. Thank you.
Per the manufacturer of the Corona Classic Bypass Pruner (3/4"): What’s Covered: Corona stands behind our promises and guarantees our tools to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of nearly all of our tools. The life of a tool is usually determined by how often and the conditions where it is being used. If there are any defects in materials or workmanship, it usually happens early in the life of the tool. The same tool may have a different life expectancy based on frequency of use. Someone making thousands of cuts, digs or scoops per day will wear out a tool long before an occasional, infrequent user. Corona will either repair the tool or part, or replace it with the same or one of higher quality. What’s Not Covered: Corona is dependable and trustworthy, and we expect the same from our customers. We do not cover normal wear, lost or stripped parts, product modification, or product damage due to misuse as claims for a defective tool. Abuse is using a tool in a manner that it was not designed. For additional warranty information or replacement parts, you can contact Corona directly at 1-800-847-7863.
