Jason from San Leandro, Ca writes

What happens to the predatory mites Koppert Spidex when there is no more prey or spider mites to prey on?

Answer:

The Koppert Spidex (Phytoseiulus persimilis) 100 ml population will decline dramatically in the absence of spider mites and the predatory mites will become cannibalistic. If hot spots of spider mites appear, it may be necessary to re-introduce Phytoseiulus persimilis into your crop.
