What is the application rate for soil drench application using Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran to treat Adelgids on a White Pine that measures 24" with heavy pine bark? This tree is 80ft tall and there is summer heat and dryness.

For soil drench applications to treat Adelgids, the product label advises on pages 12 – 13, for trees (24” diameter or greater at breast height) Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran is applied at 2.5-5 level teaspoons per inch of trunk diameter and for multi stem trees, apply at the rate of  2.1 – 4.2 oz per 10 inches of trunk diameter at breast height (DBH). The base rate is on cumulative inches of diameter of all stems at breast height.
