What is the application rate of Dismiss NXT Herbicide for spot treating areas for nutsedge? I am not broadcasting, only treating a few areas as a spot treatment.

Answer:

Spot treatments are defined as 1,000 sq ft areas. If one gallon of water will cover a 1,000 sq ft section, then you would use the mix rate for Dismiss NXT Herbicide according to your turfgrass type listed in the Mix Rate Table on page 3 of the product label. 

The application rates range from 0.117 to 0.350 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft depending on your turfgrass type.
