Have several rats OUTSIDE of house. No food sources on my property. Very good screens on house vents. No evidence that rats ever get inside of my house structure. Neighbors have Nut trees & chickens & overgrown yard. I have a dog and another neighbor also has large dogs. Do not want a dead or sick dog!
When using rat bait in CA, you are limited to what can be purchased, unless you are a licensed pest control operator. Fastrac Blox is a great option for use outdoors inside of bait stations. Be sure to use it inside of these bait stations so that no non-target animals come in contact with it. There is no antidote associated with this rodenticide, so be very mindful of that. Generally though, if your pet consumed dead rats after they consumed this product, there is such a small amount of the active ingredient in each bite that your pet will have to eat their body weight in rats to be affected.
