What is the best way to eliminate a termite infestation?

I've lived in the house for twenty years, and used termite stakes for the last ten years along the back of the house that faces the woods. Today, I found termites swarming in the laundry of the first floor in the FRONT of the house. I don't see any dirt tubes, so I don''t know how they got in. Will Termidor SC with a trench application around the foundation kill the termites in the house? Or do I need to use foam? If I need to use foam, how is it applied?

Answer:

Termidor SC is applied in a trench and in drilled holes directly around all sides of the structure. It will take approx. 90 days to kill any active colonies depending on their size. You can apply Termidor Foam in the wall voids in the sheet rock to spot treat activity. Please read the article below for more information on treating termites.   Termite Treatment Article
