What is the effectiveness of applying Boracare to the existing drywood termite infestation in the attic?

The house is heat of pine house, carpenter-style, 1920s up on concrete footers with a hip roof with a peak and outside soffits. Access to the attic through opening access point in the middle of the house by the main bathroom.

Answer:

Boracare takes care of any active infestation of wood-destroying insects such as termites, carpenter ants, powderpost beetles, etc. Boracare is the best treatment option for any type of wood-destroying insect. Boracare can only be used on wood in its raw natural state. If the wood has any type of stain or finish on it you would need to either sand it off and apply Boracare and re-stain it, or drill holes periodically through the areas where you have activity and inject Boracare into the center of the wood.
