What is the setting for Prime Source Propiconazole 14.3 Select Fungicide to treat Anthracnose on Red Oaks if using a Chapin Hose End Sprayer that has a metering dial for tbsp per gallon?

This product was recommended by an arborist for a foliar spray application.

Answer:

Prime Source Propiconazole 14.3 Fungicide is labeled to control Anthracnose at the rate of 10 ml per 1 liter of water per inch of trunk diameter.  Measure the circumference of the trunk 4-5 ft up from the ground. Take the total circumference and divide that measurement by 3.14 (pie) to get the D.B.H. For example: if the total circumference of the trunk is 24 inches. The D.B.H would be 7.6 inches. This would come to be 76 ml (2.5 fl oz) of Porpiconazole in minimum of 2 gallons of water.  Please refer to the Product Label for complete use instructions.
