What is the shelf life of Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait once the package is opened?

Have a choose and cut Christmas tree farm and need to treat for fire ants. Will need several pounds per year. Does Extinguish use a vegetable oil attractant that will become rancid? Would like to purchase 25 lb. package and repackage in smaller quantities, keep in freezer and use as needed. Can vaccum pack and keep in freezer; what do you think?
