The Victor Roach Pheremone Traps (M330 Traps) will stay effective for 3 years on the shelf unopened.  After you place a trap out, the pheremone will attract roaches for up to one month, but the glue in the trap will stay sticky for months until it becomes too dusty or dirty to catch roaches anymore.
