they leave trails of repulsive body liquids, hide behind something, and slowly die, making more gross mess. i have about 40 in alcohol captured in the garage. i have even had 5 that went beyond the garage into rooms in my house, traveling over carpet. various methods of blocking entrance under/around the garage door have failed. i need a quick-death method for them. thousands are dying in the yard. the neighborhood has an infestation evidently, but i alone am eliminating them.
There is evidence that pieces of copper sheeting will stop the slugs from crossing into unwanted areas. Most hardware stores do carry rolls of the copper.
