What rate should be used to drench the area in landscaping that has ants?

I have ants that are coming into the house. The colony appears to be in our landscaping. Can I drench the area with a Tempo SC mix?

Answer:

Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled for drench applications for ants or other insects and is applied as a foliar spray application.

Per the product label, for ants around the exterior perimeter foundation and landscape beds, apply at the rate of 8 ml to 16 ml per 2 gallons of water. Treat the exterior foundation spraying 2 to 3 ft up the foundation and then out from the foundation in a band up to 10 ft wide. Spray along any visible or active ant trails, around windows and doors, along sidewalks, or other areas where seen.

Tempos SC can also be applied to the foliage of bushes, trees, shrubs, etc.
