What rate should I use for Permethrin SFR 36.8% for fleas in yard?

Per Q&A: "To treat fleas in lawns, you will use 0.4–0.8 oz. (2.4 - 4.8 tsp) of Permethrin SFR in 4 to 25 gallons of water per 1000 square feet." Does that mean .4 oz for 4 gallons and .8 oz for 25 - or can you use .8 for 4 gallons if you have heavy infestation?

Answer:

When applying Permethrin SFR 36.8%, you can chose any rate between 0.4-0.8 oz.  Regardless of the rate you chose, you will still use it in 4-25 gallons of water per 1000 square feet.  The higher rate of 0.8 oz is used for quicker knock down and longer residual.
