Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew Concentrate is not labeled for and, therefore, will not be effective as a soil drench. To treat for thrips using Captain Jacks, you will apply the product as a spray to get thorough coverage on the target plants. Captain Jacks should not be used for mite control except certain stages of spider mites only since the active ingredient is only effective for pests that will ingest it.
