What should I be looking for to verify that the Temprid SC is working to kill bed bugs?

I believe my infestation of bed bugs is about 4 months old and seems to be quite large. The first application of Temprid SC was 2 days ago but bed bugs are still extremely active and biting to the point that I can't sleep at night. There are constantly new eggs on my computer chair which means that adults are still alive and well. I've been vacuuming the chair and floors several times a day but I'm not seeing more than just a few couple dead bugs ( smaller ones). Also, exterminator said he does not do surfaces so my bed was not sprayed. Can my bed be sprayed? I am not able to cover the mattress with plastic or preventative fabric. Is there anything I can do to stop from being painfully harassed by these nasty critters at night? I've tried to repel them with Tea Tree oil but it doesn't work. Lastly, what should I be looking for to verify that the Temprid SC is actually working for these particular bed bugs and how long ( approximately) should it take to kill a population of 4 months? Any help is greatly appreciated as I am rapidly losing my mind! Thank you so much!

Answer:

Temprid SC Insecticide should be reapplied every 7-10 days until no one is getting bitten and there is no further evidence such as live bugs, cast skins or fresh blood spots found. The Temprid can be applied to the tuffs, seams, and folds but no broadcasted on the mattress itself. If you are looking for something to wrap your mattress with you may consider using a Mattress Safe Sofcover Ultimate Total Mattress Encasement
