While Miracle-Gro Miracid Plant Food mentions azaleas, rhododendrons, and hibiscus on the packaging specifically, the product label says it's safe for all plants therefore can be used on petunias. The higher iron and acid content in Miracid is ideal for petunias and other annuals and sometimes recommended to alternate with Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food when caring for petunias
