Hi, i have very wide (1/8" - 1/4") cracks in the concrete inside my house. Once removing the carpet in the dining rm and den there are cracks from one side of the room to the other. We eventually will install Travertine over it. We have termites that came up from the crack and infested the cardboard around the Travertine tiles stacked up near it. We also have ants coming up the crack in the dining room and marching a very long line over to the cat food area. What can I use to spray in the cracks for ants and termites and what will happen once the tile is laid over the cracks? How do you get the aerosol product in the sections that the cracks are really small across the floor. We need a pet safe product. We bought Dominion to treat around the outside of the house but haven't dug the trench yet. I hope to do that this weekend before the 100 degree weather comes. (we are in Arizona) Thanks
You can actually use the dominion to treat the crack. You will need to use a hammer drill (can be rented from home improvement store) to drill through the concrete to get the product to the soil. You can than use concrete patch to cover the holes.
