What's the difference in these two Clethodim grass killing products?

"Grass Out Max" has active ingredient Clethodim at 25.4%. You also carry Select "Source PS Clethodim Herbicide" which shows 26.4% and specifically lists Bermudagrass BUT is not for sale in several states. What is the difference in these two? Does that extra percent qualify PS as prohibited? It's also nearly twice as expensive.

Answer:

Grass Out Max and PS Clethodim are basically the same product with a very small variation of active ingredient percentage. However, this variation in the percentage of Clethodim does not determine eligibility for sale and/or shipping to certain states. Each state has a registration process for herbicides and in this case the manufacturer of PS Clethodim which is Prime Source has not registered their product in several states. Therefore, when a product is not registered with the state it may not be shipped or sold there.
