According to the Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf product label, for surface pests, this can be applied whenever insects are present. When using for crane fly larvae, apply once when adult insects are present in large numbers. For white grubs, applications can be applied May through July. We recommend that you consult with your local cooperative extension office for exact timing in your area.
