Merit Insecticide Granules can be applied at any time, but if you are looking to control white grubs then you want to apply it several weeks before the egg match of the target pest. Usually, this application needs to be made in late Spring, usually sometime between May and late June. We recommend contacting your local Cooperative Extension for the best recommendation on application timing for your target pest in your area. Under normal circumstances, Merit will provide residual white grub control for four months or longer in turf.
