When is Pillar G to be applied for lawn protection?

I have the popular Scotts Classic Drop Spreader and what would be the best setting?

Answer:

Pillar G Intrinsic Granular Fungicide needs to be applied at 3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. on a 14 to 28 day interval using a properly calibrated broadcast spreader. Please look at page 7 of the label for spreader settings or contact Scotts directly for help on how to calibrate for your application. According to the label, due to variability within turfgrass species and application techniques, neither the manufacturer nor the seller has determined whether Pillar G Intrinsic can safely be used on all turfgrasses under all conditions. The user must determine if Pillar G Intrinsic can be used safely before broadscale use. Apply the specified use rate of Pillar G Intrinsic on a small test area under conditions expected to be encountered. Monitor for any adverse effects during a 14- day period after application.
