When should I apply to prevent spurge?

Spurge takes over my lawn as soon as the weather gets hot, usually around June.

Answer:

Below is our guide on how to prevent spurge. Per our guide, we recommend applying a pre-emergent such as Prodiamine 65 WDG (Generic Barricade) in the spring before soil temperatures get above 55 degrees. Your local extension office can also assist you with optimal timing application
