When using Bonide Systemic Insect Spray Ready-To-Spray for bark scale on twilight crepe myrtles, do the trees need to be washed with soap and water first?

Light to moderate infestation.

Answer:

Bonide Systemic Insect Spray Ready-To-Spray does not require you to wash the bushes, trees, shrubs, etc before application. When spraying taller trees, shrubs and ornamentals, twist the sprayer hood to "stream" position for extended reach and more uniform coverage.  The product label does not require trees be prewashed prior to the applicaiton.
