You list several products, but the WP products (which seem to contain the most "bang" in terms of % of active pesticide) will leave a film on my siding. Are any of the sprays be as effective as the powders? We need enough to spray two homes, several times this fall. Thanks.
To answer your question, the #1 product for overwintering stink bugs is Demon WP (or Cyper WP, the generic of Demon WP) Demon WP contains the active ingredient cypermethrin which is known to pack quite a punch for those hard to kill insects. Demon WP is also a wettable powder. Using a wettable will keep the product up on the surface of the treated area and will be easier for insects to pick up on their bodies. You are right though, WPs or wettable powder formulations can leave a bit of a powdery residue on treated surfaces. A good alternative would be Cy-Kick CS. Cy Kick CS is microencapsulated and works a lot like WPs but without the residue.
