Why can't Termidor be used indoors for ants?

I have ants that are around the perimeter of my unfinished basement. I have used it on the exterior of my house and it worked great. Just curious why everybody says it cant be used indoors.

Answer:

Termidor SC is NOT labeled for indoor general pest control. The Termidor SC product label only allows indoor applications to wall voids (behind sheetrock), unfinished attics, unfinished basements, and crawlspaces. Termidor SC could be harmful if used in violation of the product label. We would recommend using Phantom indoors for non repellent ant control.
