Why did Lilly Miller Moss Out For Lawns Concentrate turn my grass orange?

I initially mowed short and then raked out as much moss as possible. Then I mowed again and put down Moss Out + Fert. One week later, I raked again to remove the dead moss and noticed a lot of my grass blades are now orange and my lawn looks bad. Please advise why and will those blades die now?

Answer:

We are sorry to hear of any issues with the Lilly Miller Moss Out For Lawns Concentrate.  We have not heard of this happening on lawns, only on concrete or other surfaces would there be possible staining. We would recommend you contact the manufacturer directly for advice at 800-265-0761.
