Why is a surfactant NOT recommended with Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester for treating lawns?

Why is the recommendation to not use a surfactant when applying to lawns, when there is nothing in the label that indicates such a recommendation or guidance?

Answer:

Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester is an oily product that is known to burn lawns therefore the addtion of a surfactant will increase the risk of burning and injuring turf.  Please view the product label for more information.
