Bifen L/P Insecticide Granules is not labeled to control or kill earthworms and unfortunately, we do not know of any products actually labeled to control them. They are pretty well protected from insecticides with the mucus that covers them. Usually they stay deep in the soil where we rarely notice them, so it sounds like there may be a major drainage issue somewhere in the lawn. If the soil stays saturated, then the worms would have to come up to survive. Be sure your lawn is thick and well-fertilized and kept long enough, and you may want to check the pH or even check out the density in case you need to aerate and help the soil breathe better.
