I want to release Ladybugs but do not want them to come into contact with treated areas. Also, does this product treat for Aphids?
Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew Concentrate could harm lady bugs that come in contact with it after it has been sprayed. Since the reapplication time is 7-10 days after the first application, we would recommend waiting at least 10 days after applying to release the lady bugs. Captain Jacks Deadbug Brew Concentrate is not labeled for aphids. On edible plants, you could use Monterey Fruit Tree Spray Plus which has neem oil and pyrethrin for a great contact kill/knockdown of insects like aphids, whiteflies, spider mites, cabbageworms, and many more. This can be applied up to the day of harvest, please refer to the product label for your specific edibles to be listed. We generally do not recommend spraying directly on flowering blooms so as not to harm beneficial pollinators. You can view all our products for aphid control here.
