I have an invasion of bermuda in my fescue blend of lawn. I have been spraying Turflon Ester. But that just slows it down, Will this product be more effective? I live in the hot Central Valley of California.
No, Celsius WG Herbicide is safe on warm season lawns such as Bermuda. It will not harm it any way. Depending on what type of fescue you have, Gordons Ornamec 170 Grass Herbicide is labeled to control bermuda. Please be advised that Bermuda grass is extremely difficult to control and you will likely need to make several applications no matter which product is used and multiple seasons at times. Best time to apply products to control it is in fall as it is starting to go back into dormancy or the spring when it is coming back out of dormancy.
