Elizabeth from St. John, Us Virgin Islands writes
Dominion 2L is labelled to treat for Thrips on trees and the application rate is 0.1 to 0.4 fl. oz. (3 to 12 mL) per inch of trunk diameter (D.B.H.) For treating Sea Grape Borers, unfortunately, there have not been any studies in recent years to show that any insecticide is effective on them. The best recommendation for control is pruning and destroying twigs infested with the borers as a method of reducing populations.
