George from Woodstock, Ga writes

will exciter work well on termites and ground hornets?

Answer:

Excited would be a great product to mix in with another residual insecticide for an extra kick for most insects, however sometimes that extra knock down is not what you need for specific treatments. For ground hornets it is better to apply a dust like Tempo 1% Dust or Delta Dust to the holes with a duster. The dust gets carried through the next on the air and the wings of the insects and is better for a direct next treatment. If you were using a general insecticide spray across the whole lawn with something like Talstar, you could mix the Exciter with it for a faster kill initially, while the Talstar maintains at least a 30 continuous protection across the yard. For termites, the Exciter would actually hurt your treatment unless you were hitting an entire colony at once and spot treating every last one of them. If you are wanting to treat or prevent for Subterranean termites you would want a product like Termidor to do the trench treatment around the foundation of your home. Termidor is a transfer product that gets passed from one termite to the other through the entire colony without them ever realizing it.
