Will Ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Systemic be safe to use in/around my chicken yard?

I have several ash trees that I'm trying to treat and prevent EAB infection. Two of the trees are in/next to my chicken yard/coop. Will Ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench be safe to use since the chickens will have access to the area after it has been treated and one of the trees is right in the middle of their foraging area.

Answer:

According to the manufacturer, as long as the drench around the tree has had enough time to completely dry, it will not pose a threat to the chickens in the chicken coop. The Ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench will bind to the soil and will absorb through that tree to prevent insect from eating it up.
