Will Fusilade II Herbicide kill St. Augustine in my Empire Zoysia Lawn?

Answer:

Fusilade II Herbicide is known to injure or kill St. Augustine turfgrasses since it is not labeled as a tolerant turfgrass. Fusilade II Herbicide can be used on healthy Zoysia turfgrass that is not under any stress from insects, disease, drought, oversaturation, etc.  For Overspray of Zoysia: Apply at the rate of 3 – 4 fl oz/A along with a non ionic surfactant Applications should be made in late spring and a follow up application 28 days later.
