Will Gordons Trimec Encore Broadleaf Herbicide kill oxalis in tall fescue without injuring the lawn?

Answer:

Gordons Trimec Encore Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled to treat oxalis in Tall Fescue lawns at the mix rate of 3-4 pints (48-64 fl oz) per acre in 20 to 250 gallons of water for broadcast applications. To prevent injury to turf, applications should be me made in early morning or late evening when temps are between 65-85 degrees. If turf is under any stress from heat, drought, disease or turf eating insects this can cause injury to the lawn. Read more about Use Restrictions on the product label.  For spot treatments, mix rate is 1.5 fl oz per 1000 sq ft with a maximum of 2 spot applications per year with 30 days apart between applications.
