Meredith from Northern California writes

Will GrazonNext HL control poison oak?

We have open grassland used for grazing cattle, and trails for hiking scattered through the property. We would like to control the poison oak (which has been cleared, but is popping up intermittently on the trails) without any risk of impacting our cattle or our bee population.

Answer:

Yes, GrazonNext HL Herbicide can be used on poison oak to eliminate it. The rate is 1.5 to 2.1 pints (24 to 34 fluid oz) product per acre.
