Heritage G Fungicide targets diseases in a lawn, so that would not directly impact any insects like fungus gnats. Fungus gnats and disease do have two thing in common though, in that they thrive in consistently overly wet soils. If you have had a lot of rain recently and the soil hasn't been able to dry out, or if the lawn holds moisture and is shady in general, you made need to take measures to reduce or eliminate moisture as best you can. Talstar Xtra granules would be a great option for lawn insects like gnats and will last for roughly 2-3 months per application.
